"It's a little confusing to find since it's tucked away on a side street (and the front of the building seems to still be under construction) but our stay here was fabulous. Wonderful view of the city from our rooms and very comfortable. Staff answered any questions very quickly by text. Even at 10 pm on a Saturday night! Will definitely stay here again. Nice area as well. Lots of restaurants and fun coffee places nearby."

"If you need a place to stay in downtown Toronto for a night or two, but don't want to pay exorbitant rates, the Oak House is your answer. Throughout most of the year, it's one of the student dorms used by the University of Toronto. During the summer, it turns into a hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff are friendly and professional. And the security is tight, too. It's also located close to public transit and a number of shops and restaurants. This was a last minute choice...

"Not much to say, really. When I’m in the city I just need a place to sleep and store my things. This place is perfect! It’s clean and new, just steps away from the TTC. Short walk south to the market. Will look to stay here again."

"This is a student residence, not a full-on hotel. The beds are singles and there are two small en-suite rooms in the "apartment" setting. The location is great (near TTC Subway Station and Streetcar access). Not a particularly noisy part of Toronto. On-site dining at the cafeteria (reeeeeally good food!!) was convenient. Everything in the description matched what was offered. If you are looking for a hotel experience, pay the higher price. This place (for the cost) is very efficient and...
