The room was spacious and immaculately kept. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff spoke English and were quite helpful. Overall, this was a nice and clean place to stay there was an unpleasant smell in the cabin and the main shower head didn’t work in one of our cabins and the glass in the patio was too high blocking the view.

I needed a hotel for 16 hours as I waited for a second flight from the airport. I know the Tien Shan from meetings we had held there when I lived in Almaty but I had never stayed there. This review is based on what to expect from a hotel at this price point. For what it is, was comfortable, clean, roomy, close to a couple of restaurants and did the job. A sign on the entry gate with the hotel name would have saved a lot of arrival hassles
