Having your own cottage a few steps from an amazing beach is a rare thing in this age of mega resorts. No steel drum bands, restaurants, or nightclubs at this property, but there is plenty of that nearby. A rental car or taxi is definitely needed. The staff is incredibly helpful and will go the extra mile to get you whatever you need. Our hosts were wonderful- waiting for us despite our 3-hour delay and helping us find a late- night meal when we finally arrived. The apartment was lovely - clean, airy with beautiful wood furniture. The a/c in the bedroom was delightful after a long day and the view in the back of the piton was gorgeous. It was also convenient to the airport. Highly recommend!
The stay was really wonderful. The rooms were very clean and the service was topnotch all the way around. My only complaint is the food was very expensive. We were grateful to have a market nearby to get a breakfast items for our room to cook each morning. I don't mind staying in luxury hotels and paying premium prices but somehow I feel the food should be reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet for two was $80 without a tip. Outside of that, I can't say enough great things about the resort.
The apartment was spacious, convenient, and had everything that I needed for my stay. Mora was a wonderful host who went out of her way to take care of her guests. The apartment is just a short walk to the beach. I would highly recommend this to anyone for their stay in Soufriere.
The hotel has a breathtaking view of the town & the Caribbean Sea but somehow those aren’t even the best parts. The best part of the experience was the staff, they are the friendliest, warmest staff I’ve ever come across. Wonderful energy at Bel Jou, will definitely be back!
I traveled solo end of April. I felt very safe and the staff were so nice and welcoming. It was not crowded at that time and pretty quiet. The complimentary rum punch at arrival was a nice touch. Jude’s Apartments was an excellent choice for me. It was a calm 2 bedroom lower level unit that features a laundry room. Very clean and comfortable. The space was very easy to make yourself at home. The location was very convenient as well being just two minutes away from the beach and walking distance from several local restaurants. The host Julie was a life saver and I honestly look forward to staying at Jude’s the next time I visit St Lucia.

Beautiful property located on a nice stretch of beach. Ideal location which is perfect and close to town for shopping. There is a shuttle that drops off and picks you up otherwise it’s a short walk, approx 1/2 mile to resort. Hotel is clean and everyone is friendly. Good food and entertainment. I’d stay again and don’t have any complaints.
I dropped my wallet as I left checked out of the hotel. I didn't realize it until about 45 minutes later. When I returned to the hotel the staff had secured my wallet and locked it up. All the contents, including approximately $1,000 US dollars was still in the wallet. I can't express how GREAT the staff was!!!!
