"We are were a family of four.Overall the hotel, was really good because the staff’s service was top notch. The food there was tasty and it was good because it had less oil unlike other restaurants outside. The rooms are huge with a nice spacious living room and it has nice scenery with Guilin mountains."

"We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. There are many options in Yangshuo but most of them are on busy roads. Ancient Village is nestled in beautiful gardens that are immaculately maintained. The staff are incredibly helpful recommending and booking activities. Included breakfast is a bonus (not buffet style but a reasonable range of options that are freshly prepared)."

"The staff at this hotel were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. They have e-bikes which you can rent. One of the staff even came and found me when I got lost!! The property is about 7km from the town but very doable if you take the e-bikes and the hotel provides helmets. The pool is very instagrammable! The views were amazing. They also have local costumes available for dressing up in if that appeals. There are lots of high tech gizmos, including a Japanese style toilet, a movie screen...

"The property is beautiful, location is great to explore the river, away from the main town. You can get a bike from the property or they can arrange a tour for you. We are more of an independent travellers and therefore happy to cycle our way along the river. The staff is just wonderful. Everyone was so friendly particularly the lady at the reception. Thank you!
