"Good hotel if you're just looking for a place to sleep, since you’ll probably be out exploring most of the time. It’s not a 5-star property, but it does the job for a night or two. Staff were friendly and the location is spot on — about a 10–15 minute walk to the lake and the center of Thun. Parking is available right next to the hotel and it’s affordable, but make sure to have some Swiss Franc coins on you."

"Lesson learned - Don't book a stay with a property that doesn't have a single person on-site or on-call to help. By the time we arrived our check-in email from the Guesthouse still had not arrived in our email inbox. This email is the only way in to your room, as it holds the lockbox code which holds your key. "The staff were very cordial and helpful. The rate is May was very high. It is an old hotel. The room was clean but the plug points for charging phone are all old so no USB connections. The hotel is only 5 to 7 min walk to Interlaken West Station so was v very convenient but it was expensive. The breakfast was excellent every morning. We stayed 4 days here. "What a stunning place to stay. The apartment we stayed in was amazing and huge for a family. Multiple rooms, fully equiped. The hosts had excellent communication and check in was a breeze. Parked car nearby in safe undercover garage. Walking distance to shops cafes bars and grocery stores. Driving to grinderwald and lauterbrunnen so close- 20 min. The views from our windows were something from a postcard. We wish we had more time to stay longer. Can’t wait to come back! "

"Breakfast menu wasn't wide and really needed more egg options. Boil eggs in shell wasn't appealing. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Room #218 had a excellent view of both sides of hotel with a balcony which i loved. Walking distance to everything and very close to train station. Enjoyed my stay. "
