"Panoramic view of the lake from room 204 though the room layout was a bit awkward. No bedside table on one side of the bed. Unfortunately no air conditioning in the recent heatwave but supplied with a large fan. Note that the hotel is alcohol free so no sitting on the terrace with a cool beer in the evening."

"The Hotel is ok and the personal too but if you book it over Hotels.com the owner tries to charge you twice/double. I’ve stayed there twice now and they did it the first time and tried to do it the second time. And to get your money back is hours of discussions…"

"Good hotel if you're just looking for a place to sleep, since you’ll probably be out exploring most of the time. It’s not a 5-star property, but it does the job for a night or two. Staff were friendly and the location is spot on — about a 10–15 minute walk to the lake and the center of Thun.
