"One week with three children. Really loved the hotel. Stuff was so serviceminded and nice. Loved the distance between pool and ocean, you could easily walk between without choosing pool or beach for the day. All inclusive is mostly in another part of the hotel. We took only breakfast and choosed our restaurants. We like that better. Breakfast was great! Area around had some abandoned bulidings but nothing that effected our impression. Nice streets with enough shops and restaturants for us...

"A very nice hotel. Great pool. Lovely room. Good breakfasts. Staff all seemed happy & were friendly & helpful. Both pool bars have excellent teams. Aquafit/Aquayoga led by two young Ents staff twice a day was great. Cooking lessons on a Friday super. Because the hotel is so nice, once you get outside the grounds the area feels a bit underwhelming, but there are decent places to buy water, booze etc & restaurants & bars 3 minutes away (Greek, sushi/Korean and more) & lots more down towards Ixia...

S. Nikolis Historic Boutique Hotel

"We booked this hotel at the last minute after a disastrous check-in experience at Arthur Suites (which we very much do NOT recommend). As soon as we arrived at S Nikolas, the experience was dramatically better. We were greeted at the check-in deck with a very friendly welcome, given good advice about booking a taxi for the airport early versus trying to find one on the streets, given a choice of rooms, etc. All of the staff from the breakfast waitress to the front desk lady who booked our morning taxi and drove us in her golf cart through the tiny Old Town lanes to meet the taxi, were extremely nice - friendly and polite. The hotel itself is in a quiet section of the Old Town, well away from the crowded more touristy areas, and is a very old beautiful stone building. Our room, in the medieval annex, was lovely, with a complimentary bottle of wine. The breakfast in the garden courtyard was delicious, and plentiful. All in all, a delightful stay, we definitely recommend it, and will stay there again when next in Rhodes."

"Boutique hotel with a very central location in the Old Town of Rhodes walking distance to sights, the taxi, boat, and bus stations. Front desk was very helpful when we had questions about going to our destinations in the island. Only items to note were that towels need softener as they were rough and the safe was not powered because it did not have batteries."

"A great resort, I would say it’s more of a 4 star and definitely focused on families. I believe it is too big to maintain a 5 star standard, as it missed the finesse that others show, more because of its struggles to cope with a large number of guests. The location is amazing, close to old town and all the bays. Swim up pool is good, the vent for the sewage was near ours, so you would get a whiff and I noticed some of the other swim up rooms didn’t even get the sun. I could have complained, but the hotel was that full, I couldn’t see what they would be able to do to fix this. The buffet was ok, nothing that stands out though, felt that the a la cartes were just the buffet plated up by someone else. The street food hub was ok but they always got the order wrong, so something to be aware of. A small thing, but how you judge a hotel quite quickly, no welcome drink and checking in felt more like a factory process. So if you are after a true 5 star experience, then maybe not, if you don’t like hearing kids, then maybe not but if you are after a high end 4 star in a great location and you have kids, then yes (if you get a good deal and not 5 star prices)."

"Nice clean hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful and had a wide choice. Unfortunately the spa area was out of action for some reason. Disappointing really as it seemed like a nice place to get pampered if you wanted to."
