Rosewood Beijing once again proved itself as my current best hotel option in the City. Having stayed at around 30 hotels in Beijing, this is the winner. Location is extraordinarily important in Beijing and this is perfectly central regardless of what you’re in town for. Great place, service, yard. Staff are very helpful.

Great location if you want to be closer to the historic sites like the Great Wall. The hotel is part of a complex of outlet stores, an amusement park and a hot spring. The service was fantastic. The restairants were excellent and the concierge and Lobby Bar staff were particularly attentive.

On checking in, we were told that we were booked in the Garden Tower, which was an old structure from 1987 and showed its age, and were encouraged to upgrade to the Valley Tower, that was only a few years old. I was surprised at such a significant disparity in the condition of the two towers, especially at the Shangri-la. I have stayed at various hotels near Renmin University and this is by far the best choice in the area. I would definitely choose this hotel for my next trip to Renmin and nearby universities.

Great breakfast

I recommend this hotel. The only problem was that I took a reservation for 3 people in an executive suite and, when arrived the only room available had only one bed. ??. I ask for the other bed and They said that the bed have an extra cost.??. Finally, after a discussion, they did not charged the extra cost. I don´t know if the problem is from Expedia or from the hotel, but it is not logical a booking for 3 people with only one bed.

Location is great. Walking distances to breakfast, shopping and more. However, we were disappointed on cleanliness for the room. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. however, we saw blood stain in bathtub, and it were there all 3 nights we stayed..

Excelent hotel with a superb location. The only thing to improve could be the attention at the front desk wit a better attitude towards the guests and a better command of the english language.

If you want to treat yourself and sleep in luxury stay here. This is one of the best hotels in the area. Access to stores is unmatched. The rooms are spectacular and worth every penny.

Excelente estancia. El hotel no es muy acogedor ni se siente ambiente familiar. Su apariencia es más bien de hotel ejecutivo. Pero cumple con todo lo que promete. Muy limpio, buen precio, buena ubicación, el personal amable y servicial. Lo recomiendo totalmente para estancias breves de turismo o de negocios.
