"Cute little hotel just a short trip by train to Strasbourg. Kept car at hotel so we didn’t have to worry about the clean air sticker. Breakfast was good. We would stay here again. "

"Nice hotel. Stayed one night with the family. There was a charger a few minutes down the road for the var and the very nice charming city center was just a short walk away. Ok the other side of the road there is a really nice bakery. Personal was very helpful and in general just a very pleasant stay."

"Les gérants étaient très avenants, sympa, dévoués et disponibles. Le bilan global est donc très positif. Si l'occasion se présenterait, nous n'hésiterions pas a y retourner. Adresse à conseiller sans réserve !"

"An amazing loft. Excellent service by the owner. Quiet place and very comfortable. Extra recommended"

"Séjour fantastique dans un cadre sublime. Le restaurant comme à chaque fois un vrai plaisir et régale. Un hôtel que je recommande sans souci"

"Lovely hotel perfect for overnight stay en route to vacation. Hotel is in nice condition and rooms look recently updated. Our room had the toilet separate which is a surprise. Location in a rural town. For a short walk the visit to the tower in top of the hill is a nice one. No need for extremely good stamina although it is a climb to the top of the hill. There was some kind of gathering in the street i the evening, but everything really cheerful and it didn't last long. "

"Proche de la nature, c'est atypique mais avec tout le confort "

"What I especially liked was the ability to park on the property, with is in an outlying village of the Strasbourg metropolitan area, and bus it into the city - there's a regular service, takes half an hour, cost €2.50. It's a unique sort of property, an enclosed series of buildings, half-timbered in style, repurposed to local uses and tourism. The host is as brilliant as other reviews note - nothing too much trouble. "

"Beautiful modern hotel behind a period facade in picturesque Barr on the routes des vin d’alsace. Outdoor swimming pool excellent in the hot weather. Dinner in the evening was very good,"

"Bon accueil, chambre très spacieuse et très propre Diner sur place super copieux"

"The inn keepers were so welcoming and helpful. It felt like staying with family. "
