"This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back."

Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater .
Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side.

Rooms perfect with en suite and views when sat outside were amazing. Loved watching the red kites . Central to all walking spots and hosts were friendly and nothing wasnt too much trouble for them. "

Our room wasn’t ready until 4.50 pm which was a bit disheartening after a 3 hour drive and it was disappointing we were just offered a cup of tea and a sit in the lounge. This could have been handled better . The food was delicious, it was very quiet and beautiful lounges a shame there wasn’t anything to encourage guests to stay downstairs after dinner. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. "
