"A very nice, clean hotel, convenient for a Cabot trail trip. Comfortable and peaceful. Great space. Stayed here twice (was glad to relieved to return after a crummy motel stay the previous night in pleasant bay)."

"This is an older small hotel that is run by a very nice couple. The room were renovated and clean, plus the beds and pillows are very comfy. Every room has a view of the river, which is nice. We were doing the Cabot trail and this met our needs. The breakfast was very good at the on site restaurant (they serve breakfast only), but there are a few other places to eat close by that were great."

"I needed a ground floor and was accommodated even after checking in late. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast included for an early check out and get on the road again. The bathroom was dated and the room smelled a little musty but it was ok after opening the window for awhile. The bathroom could use an update for sure. Other than that very convenient place to stay in such a beautiful town."

"Nice location, lots of space. I looked around thoroughly in the space for cleaning issues as we were travelling with kids. We did find mice droppings in the cutlery drawer and other kitchen drawers which means a fail. Under beds, couch etc filthy. Any accomodation needs frequent deep cleaning and it looks like the are skipping this. Rodent issues need to be addressed. General cleanliness is below standard and needs to be taken care of. Otherwise a nice property."
