"We stayed in room 401 - top floor with a balcony overlooking the water and mountains - incredible view! The breakfasts were included and it’s fantastic - very well done. The Lisander restaurant at the property just earned a Michelin star and it’s incredible! We had 2 dinners there. The staff were all very friendly professional and accommodating - I highly recommend this hotel!"

"The great selling points are 1) the staff are extremely nice and helpful—they picked us up at the ferry, carried our heavy suitcases up the stairs to our room, held our luggage and then brought it to us at the ferry dock. 2) the view is unbeatable—IlPerlo is high up on a hill with a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding villages. The restaurant has clean glass walls so you can enjoy this view with your meals. 3) The included breakfast was delicious. We would love to stay here again."

"The view was outstanding, even breathtaking. Staff were very friendly, evening meal was fine (good pizzas) Breakfast was poor and expensive Overall the hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment. The views definitely make up for it"

"Really enjoyed our one-night stay here. The room was really clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was brilliant — plenty of choice and everything was fresh. It’s an adults-only hotel, although children are allowed at the beach club. We were a little unsure about that beforehand, but honestly it wasn’t really a problem at all during our stay. Drinks were reasonably priced and the location was great, just a short walk into Colico where there are some lovely restaurants and a nice harbour. We actually really liked the more relaxed pace of Colico compared with some of the busier parts further down Lake Como. Would definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area."
