We never got to use this hotel due to an error in date of arrival. The booking was made a week in advance and by arrival we discovered the error - imagine our surprise and regret. But the hotel staff at Crimea was amazing - they called another hotel in the city and arranged an emergency re-booking for us with no extra expense on our part, so that we had a place to stay for the night in Chiavenna. Even if we didn't use this hotel, the staff alone at Crimea, made the whole experience so lovely. The next morning there was a local market with many lovely things. It was a great way to finish a stay in this lovely city, and buy some fruit for the next part of our trip. As the market occupies the large parking area in the city center, you cannot park here on Friday evenings. (they will remove your car if you do). There are other places to park in around the city, but you might have to walk a bit further to get to the hotel.
