I was on a business trip which I indicated when making reservation and my meetings were in the city of SANTAREM. The hotel though beautiful & charming was 1/2 hour away from the city I needed to be at and driving through very narrow and winding roads in a mountainous terrain. It should mention on the site that this is in the middle of a forest at the top of the mountain and the location is actually Amiais de Cima, not Santarem, if anyone is using GPS which is required to find the location of...

We Absolutely loved our stay here! Everything at the hotel was amazing. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed and only wish we had more time to stay for a longer time. We had a villa which was incredibly lovely. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Location was in a quiet peaceful area but also close to the village in Alcobaça with all the cafes and shops. 100% recommend and we will absolutely stay here again when we visit the area.

The property is just a short walk to the beach. There are restaurants, bakeries and a laundromat all within walking distance from the hotel. It has a beautiful pool. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the best sleep I have had in Portugal. The staff at the hotel were all very nice and accommodating. I can honestly say they took very good care of us. If we were ever to return to Nazare this is the only hotel we would ever consider staying at....
