I stayed one night with my husband and son. The family room is set up well. My son enjoyed having space to himself in the loft. We arrived at the end of a heat wave, and while the room was stuffy initially, we slept quite comfortably, as the ceiling fan and window cross-breezes worked well to cool the room. Was a wonderful stay for my wife and me. If near Cambridge you must stay here. the breakfast was to die for.. Excellent that is :-). And the owner was amazing - helpful, friendly, and the room was beautiful and clean. Hope to return in a few years!
Great people and very friendly. The English breakfast is huge, and extremely tasty. The bed was a little bit lumpy, and might need to be replaced soon, but I would stay with them again if I were to go to Royston again.
I saw a lot of mixed reviews online... but people need to consider this hotel JUST opened! And, it's opened in an up and coming University neighbourhood... not all the apartments in the area are full yet, and people are still not traveling as much as they used to.
So for me, this place was perfect as I was simply traveling through, I was able to find a parking spot easily over night, and the hotel and surrounding area supplied everything I needed.

Driving from Liverpool to Cambridge, decided to stay just outside of Cambridge to avoid driving / parking in Cambridge, which can be quite challenging. Staying here was an inspired choice. The hotel is very adjacent to the A1 and A14 roads, right next to the Huntingdon Racecourse. The hotel was excellent in every way and was excellent value.
