Such an awesome, cosy and quaint motel to stay. The breakfast made to order, warm and delicious was an unexpected treat. The waiting/counter staff were wonderful and friendly. Made our 1 night stay simply great and wish for a B&B experience a great one indeed. Room was huge and bathroom so clean. Water pressure was like a waterfall - another welcomed surprise. Thanks!!"

The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! "

"Comfy bed and cosy interior. Sweet thoughtful touches to make it an easy stay. Well equipped kitchenette. Great for a few nights - we went to a wedding at Burtonfieldshall. We brought lots of food with us for our cooked brekkie , but maybe some bread and butter would have also been a nice touch? But really, it was perfect for what we needed it for. Wifi was probably the only thing that struggled a bit, but quite frankly didnt need it. "

"We asked for aground floor as we do not do well with steps and they put us in an annex which was obviously new and was just right for us. Our fault that we didn't ask for clean towels etc.

A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot. El problema es que no hay ascensor (pero sí me ayudaron con la valija) y tampoco hay caja fuerte en la habitación (lo cual para mí es un problema haciendo un viaje largo multi ciudad). La habitación es chica y da un poco de sensación de encierro. No hay aire, no recomendaría para el verano. Tengo que decir que la cama necesita renovar colchón,. Aprecio la ayuda del.personal que fue muy amable."

"La propiedad en general está bien, pero usan varios trucos para hacerte pagar mucho más por tu estancia, que a cualquier viajero incomodan.
Te dejan un hoja donde hábilmente te hacen pensar que hay un desayuno "gratias" y otro de pago, el de pago cuesta 15 libras y es pequeño, el problema es que esperas a que empieces a consumirlo que parece un desayuno gratis y al final te cobran 10 libras por una corn flakes.
El segundo trucos es que la propiedad tiene un pequeño parqueadero en la parte de atrás, bastante rustico, y al momento de hacer el check out te informan que vale 10 pounds por día, pudiendo uno parquear en la calle al frente del hotel de manera gratuita.
Son detalles que dejan ver la mala fe con que actúan los dueños para sacarte tu dinero, pues solo anuncian todos estos cargos al finalizar tu estadía o cuando ya has usado lo que claramente parece gratis."

The breakfast is amazing as they offer a Yorkshire experience, and it's nice because it’s different from the typical hotel breakfasts. There is a bar that offers drinks during the evening and some food, so if you don't want to go out, it's a good option.
