"This is a gem of a hotel. This is the second time I’ve stayed here (once in the 3-floor duplex & once in the 3rd floor Superior Studio), & I plan to always stay here when I visit Samui. It’s friendly, quiet, unassuming, & tucked away from the crazy tourists, while sitting directly on the turquoise water, minutes from Chaweng & Central Samui, the airport, & The Fisherman’s Night Market. "The room was spotless, with a big bed and all amenities. Cleaning when requested was also excellent. The balcony was lovely, overlooking coconut trees, with space to dry clothes after a day at the beach. The real highlight of Choengmon Residence was the staff. They were friendly, thoughtful, and made the best pad thai on Koh Samui at the restaurant downstairs. The mango shakes and Thai tea were also delicious!"

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful location with a private beach. The staff were the highlight of the stay - so friendly and excellent service. The hotel is close to Choeng Mon but not really walkable, however hotel transfers are available to there and anywhere else on the island for a small fee."

We rate 4 out of 5 stars since the food was okay-ish but not great (compared to other restaurants on the island which are much better). "We spent one night here before leaving due to its proximity to the airport. The resort is like staying in a traditional Thai village - the huts are amazing! Right on the beach, 10 mins walk to the Big Buddha and restaurants. Lovely food. We had a family room which was greats "

"We really liked our stay in Blue Orchid, the staff was very very friendly and always here to help. The only negative thing was that it's right beside a construction and it gets very loud in the morning, so you'll wake up pretty early. The Vilal was clean and we had cleaning swrvice every day. For what you pay I would really recommend staying here. "
