"This was a VIP hotel booking. The confirmation email stated that the price included two spa services per person per stay. So I wanted to book a massage appointment in advance. I was refused on the phone because it was only exfoliation. There was another discussion at check-in. In the afternoon, we made other plans. Then we received a call from reception saying they had decided to make an exception for us. However, it was only a 15-minute massage per person. By then, we no longer had the time, and frankly, no patience. If the VIP package only includes exfoliation, then don't advertise it as spa services."

Alcochete is charming, the salinas are beautiful, the outlets are nearby, and Sergio’s amazing Italian restaurant is an uber or bus away in Montijo. "
