"Fantastic stay, food was excellent, friendly staff"

"This was one of the best Guest Houses we've stayed at over many years. Both the owner, Robert and chef Jose were incredibly helpful and obliging. If you want a 'Faulty Towers' experience without the trauma, this is it. Robert is slightly eccentric in an 'olde English' kind of way and you as a guest are very much a part of his social life in so far as he is happy to talk to you socially at breakfast or whenever. "We had a lovely stay at the Old School Rooms. A really quaint building, located on the village green and only a 20 mins drive from Cambridge. The rooms are well-provided with lovely toiletries and home comforts and the breakfast is varied and delicious! The owners are really accommodating and friendly and I’d thoroughly recommend it for a place to stay."

"Very good all round. Lovely room overlooking the river."

"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and it was a beautiful venue and the facilities were very good. We enjoyed the choice of breakfasts and the bar was a great place to meet and relax. Staff were always helpful and professional and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended!"

"It was a lovely venue for our family wedding. Basic rooms but very clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Maybe a lick of paint on the windows out back would be nice but that’s a very minor criticism of a very enjoyable stay."

"Room was very clean and comfortable."

"Great place, great staff, would recommend."

"Lovely place to stay, the communal kitchen is a really good idea I don't always want a cooked breakfast when I'm traveling,"

"Great food and very convenient location for my needs."

"We arrived early...and Adam was there to tell us about the place. The village is quaint... easy to get groceries if needed. The room was spacious---and we had the little garden door-- we sat outside each evening....listening to the birds. There is a lot of history in this area. Clean rooms. It was a pleasure to stay."

"A very nice place with friendly service."

"Unfortunately I couldn't stay for the entire trip I planned. Convenient Cambridge location, and next to the pub."
