The Hafod Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Top notch place to stay, but what makes it special is the bucolic environment within which it sits. Drinks and dinner across the narrow road, with waiting staff navigating the occasional logging truck is not something you see everyday, made for a very memorable summer evening."
Feathers Hotel, Bar and Restaurant
8/10 Good
"The staff were helpful during a very busy time. Parking was adequate. Bar and restaurant service was good and staff manners to be commended. Room was clean but lacked sufficient toiletries, and clothes hangers(thank heaven for M&S plastic sales hangers)."
Old Priory Guest House
10/10 Excellent
"TLDR: For the price you are getting incredibly friendly and helpful staff, a stunning breakfast, and clean rooms. The showers are the only thing that fit the price, every other aspect of the stay was of a much higher quality than you would expect at this pricepoint. We had a marvellous stay and would absolutely come back again. The rooms were very clean, the linen smelled freshly washed and the beds were comfortable (we do prefer a firm bed firm pillows combination for context). The breakfast was incredibly good, even more so when you consider it comes free with the stay. The bathrooms were very clean, and there are enough that there was no issue with being held up by other guests. The only issue we had is that they showers, though again very clean, are a little run down and could probably be updated, but there has obviously been a lot of work done by the owners to make sure that they are fully servicable in the meantime. Truly no issue especially when you consider just how cheap the stay is, its a great way to see the area on a budget."
The Ivy Bush Royal Hotel By Compass Hospitality
8/10 Good
"Comfortable stay, very central to town. Would like to thank Lucy for our efficient check-in, as room wasn't ready she had my phone number and informed me when my room was ready as we wanted to explore the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a beautiful hot breakfast in the morning."
Harbourmaster
10/10 Excellent
"A lovely hotel in a pretty location and an easy walk to other bars and restaurants. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food is excellent."
The Rose and Crown Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Room and ensuite were immaculate and well appointed. Cleaning difficult to fault in any way. Staff friendly and very helpful. Food varied and well presented."
The Falcondale at Lampeter
10/10 Excellent
"A beautiful, comfortable hotel in a stunning location. Staff were lovely, food great. Will definitely be back."
The Black Lion Royal Hotel
8/10 Good
"Lovely staff and room was very clean. Bed was super comfy, but disappointed pillows had no pillow protectors. Breakfast was a bit limited for the cost (£12), but the cooked was very tasty and good quality. I would stay here again"
