"Absolutely gorgeous accommodation. Clean, comfortable, safe and modern rooms in a wonderful old ~1600s-1700s building giving a unique rustic flair. Fantastic location right in the heart of Ampthill (which is the most adorable little town), with plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby. Food and drink at the White Hart itself were fantastic. "It is a 2* hotel on a side of a fairly busy A road - one cannot expect a Savoy. It was clean, warm, the room quite large and comfortable, the staff kind and friendy, plenty of parking, easy distance to where we needed to be. Breakfast - a toast with jam or marmalade available by the reception. Included in the price of a £50 room I considered it a nice extra rather than breakfast I should rate for variety or quality. We’ll definitely be back!"

The air conditioning was particularly effective—an excellent feature on a hot day in England, where this is not always a given—and it made the stay even more comfortable."
