Akropolis Hotel is a real gem of a property in Bergama.
We had the family suite and it had two bedrooms, a sitting room and bathroom. The rooms were clean and spacious and allowed the four of us to settle in comfortably and sleep well, The hotel has so much architectural charm and is quiet and relaxing.
Hotel staff is attentive and friendly and are available at all times of the day. We were treated like family and will without hesitation choose this property again the next time we are in...
I have stayed here three times. Each time has been a very enjoyable stay in Bergama and this guest house. I have stayed at nearly 100 hotels and guest houses in Turkey now and this is in the top five for me.
We had a nice stay here. The room was clean, the host, Sabuha was so kind and helpful she made us feel welcome. The breakfast was great, my friend said breakfast in turkey is her favorite meal of the day. A huge perk to staying here was the espresso machine. It made the chilly morning perfect. A good cup of coffee is essential!
Cool old house/mansion. The staff (Cem & Baran) were lovely, helpful, and knowledgeable. It was an easy walk from the hotel to the cable car. I’d suggest going early; we arrived at 9:15 on a Saturday and by 10:30 there were 3 buses.
Excellent Boutique Hotel. Please be hungry when you wake up there, the Turkish breakfast provided is tasty beyond belief, and can feed you for the day!
Very nice location and walkable or short drive to everything, Nice specious rooms with decent amenities. Very nice open yard for hanging out. Only thing we didn't like was breakfast was not included. Every hotel we stayed in Turkey (in 2 weeks travel) breakfast was included. However, it was within walking distance from many restaurant choices so we didn't care. Parking was a little concerning as it was in the street outside.
