"Staff were great, breakfast was lovely. Clean and tidy. Fresh milk left outside the bedroom door every morning. Local knowledge and recommendation for locations and areas worth a visit. The wensleydale pantry recommended for evening meal, good food well priced. Very enjoyable holiday, would recommend this guest house."

"Perfect base for a couple of days walking in and around Richmond. Hosts very welcoming and informative about the local walks ( and good advice to wear our boots not trainers) accommodation was perfect, clean and welcoming, breakfast was perfect as we were walking a full English would have been too much. Took us about 10 mins to walk to the pubs and restaurants but as walkers this was no problem. Highly recommend this as a base for you if you stay in Richmond ."

Restaurant food was amazing for both dinner & breakfast, which was much better than we expected for a continental breakfast having additional Bacon & Sausage on Toast on offer surprisingly, and set us up for the day ahead. "Great property and Grassington is a perfect village with plenty of pubs and shops for a short stay. We brought our dogs and they were welcome in the pub. You do have to book that you have dogs to get in the restaurant. It’s a cosy building. Our room was small but it’s an old building so was expected. Food was excellent. Would stay again."

"5 stars are not enough for the George and Dragon - the absolute best care and hospitality can be found here! Such a gem in a beautiful village with so much history. All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. "
