"The hotel is as advertised, as in, it is primarily intended for folks enjoying the festivities downstairs. It was clean, the staff were ridiculously friendly and helpful and the location was close to everything I wanted to do or get to while I was in town. If you’re attending a show at the White Eagle Saloon and you don’t mind a steepish stair climb to your room, I’d recommend checking out these lodgings."

"Our favorite hotel in Portland. When my wife and I need to get away from the children and out of Seattle we drop them at Grandma’s and check in to the Hotel Deluxe. Well kept rooms, friendly staff, classic ambiance, a lovely lounge/bar and ideally located for walkability. We had a great time again and we will be back."
