We had been out drinking and was a late night the morning after I asked if we could extend our check out time the request was accepted at no extra cost. "Wonderful stay - beautiful building and grounds and very helpful and pleasant staff who make you most welcome. Its wonderful that such a historical building is being saved for future generations to enjoy - local walks are lovely, and interesting to see the original buildings of the estate - ie Forge, Coach house, Farm, Barns etc still in use as delightfully renovated properties. If you play golf its an added bonus - golf course is amazing!!"

"The Kings Chamber was an ideal location for me on this visit to the area. Thorne North railway station close by. My room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were good as were the evening meals. I would stay at the Kings Chamber again when in the area. "
