"All staff were great. Good location for waterfalls and Pen Y Fan."

"Another enjoyable stay at Llangoed Hall. Very helpful staff. Beautiful environment. Easy parking and another excellent room on this visit."

"A tired but welcoming establishment.Riom was basic with a faulty bathroom tap but clean. Staff were great and the bar downstairs was excellent. A 7-8 minute drive to the Hay Literature Festival so a great lower budget option"

"The Staffs are nice and lovely. The room was clean, tidy and modern stylish with effective hot and cool conditioning. Kids love the zoo. And the restaurant is stunning 👍👍"

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"Excellent stay at Peterstone last night, comfy and welcoming rooms with glorious views and excellent food too. Special mention to the staff for being so great with catering for my husband’s coeliac disease too - thank you! "

"The Hotel is nice if a little bit dated in places. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was nice and good value and it is in a great location for exploring the town and the Brecon Beacons national park. We paid £47 for a Sunday night which was exceptional value. At this price, you can overlook the hotel being a little tired in places."

"Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast."

"We found 7 Bell Street perfect and as good as the photos. Very well equipped and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds, and seating. Plenty of books magazines, information leaflets. Kitchen essentials Fresh milk marmalade and much more. Our hosts very helpful and welcoming. "

"Our accommodation was in a block beside the castle. The window was painted shut, beds were poor, a long walk to toilets and showers and no facilities in the room. The restaurant was closed. I'm ex military and have seen better army barracks."

"Hotel picked primarily because of location. It is a fairly old building so is quirky. Bedroom and bathroom size was excellent."

"Excellent property and lovely stay. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Hot tub was immaculate and we were even lucky enough to have some nice weather too! "
