"The location of the Hotel is excellent if you are visiting Beamish Museum. The interior of the hotel was very good, the rooms were clean & well presented, as was the bathroom nice white towels, plenty of hot water. What lets it down is the appearance outside the grass was very overgrown & we couldn’t open the window in our room(13) which made it very stuffy, apparently a previous guest had damaged the window lock, but I think it should have been put right straight away
