EXCELLENT stay! We arrived extremely late after a long day sightseeing. We were greeted by an extremely friendly front desk clerk (wish I got his name) who immediately checked us in. The following morning, we went in search of the Castles dog. We found him doing his job, right in front of the castles entrance! Grounds were lovely, Irish people have to be the absolute kindest people on earth! I highly recommend Ballyseede Castle!

Very comfortable stay. Beds very soft memory foam and with the windows cracked, temperature was perfect. Just put a sock under the shade to keep it from swaying with the breeze. Tight space as pictured. I used the seats to put my luggage on at night. Water pressure was amazing. Kitchen well equipped and had an air fryer. Fridge has a freezer so I could freeze my cold packs for the road. Perfect location for peace and quiet yet close to Kenmare. Check out the nearby stone circles.

After staying in many hotels all around the country on our visit over 11 days, we found the Ross Hotel room to be the most special. Our room had a king bed, fireplace, sitting area and a spacious bath and closet area. Our view was a back alley and also a lovely side view of a church. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ireland as a must stay. The hotel itself was luxurious without being pretentious, the staff was so very helpful, it is centrally located to beach in Ballybunion, sightseeing in Killarney and the ring of Kerry, and a short drive to Adare and neighboring sights. One of the extras I loved was the fitness room, spa and relaxation room. Great breakfast spread and dining options right at the hotel before and after a day out sightseeing. ...
