Gernika-Bermeo Hotels

Staff was incredibly helpful ! They went out of the way to Wish we could have stayed longer

An incredible experience at a very affordable price. The staff was incredibly welcoming. The location is perfect. The room, huge and beautiful. Loved it!

The Hotel is like new if not recently completed. The beds were very comfortable with extra pillows that I enjoyed. The breakfast was well stocked with various choices . The coffee and orange juice were delicious and freshly made. Everything about our was perfect. The hotel can be little difficult to find but well worth the effort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I don’t have anything negative to report. EXCELLENT!

Staff was super helpful in getting us oriented in the area and great communication. It was super hot but the fan and kindness made it all work!

Beautiful location, wonderful service, tasty simple breakfast

Nice clean hotel with restaurant / bar just below the train exit in the center of town with a great staff

The staff was well above excellent. I am planning on staying there when I return to visit in the fall of 2025. This time with my family in tow. If you want a quiet hotel near all the coastal towns and Gernika, I highly recomeend it.

Perfect location!!! In the middle of everything, bars, restaurants and historic sites. The place is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We can’t say enough about how lovely this apartment was! Clean, good use of space, thoughtfully stocked with a few snacks and drinks, excellent location, kitchen set up to be able to cook at home if desired. Great communication with the host. We would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel. Very clean. Staff was really nice and helpful. Buffet breakfast was included and it was excellent! Hotel was across the street from the Guggenheim museum.

We loved our 1 night stay at this property and wished we could have stayed longer. Located in a quaint small town in a lovely country setting, it was the perfect way to start our travels in Spain. The restaurants in town weren't open the night we were there, but the staff gave excellent recommendations for options in nearby Durango. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and relaxing in the tastefully decorated breakfast area. Staff were so accommodating and helpful with their...

The hotel is very nice. I enjoyed the saine and the pool, very relaxing. I didn’t have dinner at their resta But I enjoyed a glass of wine at their deck over the beach any it was nice and very affordable.

Jaw dropping building with a hard working staff, international peregrinos, lively local scene, and great food and wine. Who could ask for more?

We originally only planned to stay one night, but after arriving to the Palacio and seeing our room (vary spacious), we opted to book another night. It was a little drive into Bilbao, but totally worth it for the peaceful location with beautiful views.

Close by to Guggenheim. Easy access to public transport. Clean. Quiet. Good WIFI. skip hotel breakfast and go to Cokooncafé for the best breakfast you will find in the area.

This hotel is a great location for the Guggenheim and for dining. It’s a bit longer walk to the old town section of town. If you have a car you will find the garage exceptionally clean and relatively easy to get in and out of. It’s also easy to get in and out of the city from the hotel. The staff are very professional, courteous, and most of the kitchen staff speak some English. The food was very good and my family especially appreciated the orange juice machine for breakfast. The hotel would...
