Park View Inn - Salem
10/10 Excellent
"This is a great little gem of a hotel in Salem, nothing fancy, but is exceptionally clean, with friendly staff, quiet surroundings, and access to lots of amenities. I stay here periodically when I am in town for work, and I always feel really happy that I did."
"The location is excellent. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The staff were accommodating but did not speak english and it was hard to communicate. Our room did not get clean towels nor get the garbage emptied. We brought our own garbage out and got our own clean towels and toilet paper. That said the free breakfast was good and the hotel was kept clean."
"The remodel proved an improvement to Mills Falls. I stayed at Chase house this time around. And was not disappointed. The new mattress, pillows and towels were fantastic. I also loved their new line of toiletries. The building is quiet (but I did stay here in the off season)… and I appreciated the hotels amenities. We visited the Spa and pool at Church Landing (same business-but on the other sidebar the street). All of our treatments were relaxing and enjoyable. As was the spa locker room/ relax area. The spa was more expensive than spas back home in NY. But I guess when you are on a a- that’s the price you pay.
Overall, I always enjoy my stays here. And this time around, I appreciated the upgraded towels and bedding."
