"this is a hole in the wall , definitely worth it to stay there, my room was clean , specious, good A/C , enough hot water , 8) Mahmoud was very kind and helpful, rest of the staff very friendly as well. perfect for a short stay, for a family or solo female travellers. 10 minutes walk distance to the public ferry that takes you to the East side of town, only $25 egyptian pounds per person, restaurants everywhere west East of the Nile river , walkable from this hotel. the road to get there is a little dusty, but heck, this is the desert 🌵 I would definitely be back to this hotel in a heart beat ."

"This place was absolutely magnificent. It felt like luxury with a clean pool, great food and transparent prices. It was a welcome refuge after the craziness of Cairo and Giza. The owners were extremely helpful and mindful of what tour options were most affordable. They cared about making sure you are not ripped off- which is a bonus for such a luxury place. The one improvement is that the boat took over an hour to reach us whenever we used it."

"The view of the Nile is amazing and having it just by the side of the pool is also a nice touch. In the evening there is a nice ambiance with little tables and carpets scattered near the river. The breakfast wasn't exceptional but it wasn't disastrous either. The staff went out of their way to give my partner and I a room with a single queen bed instead of our booked double single bed bedroom and also pitched in a free breakfast. Overall, our best stay in Egypt after visiting 3 different locations."

"The Susanna has a good location. It'a clean enough, serves a purpose .The bed was comfortable and has a great view from the roof top. They also serve a good breakfast there in the morning. The staff were very accommodating. It definitely serves a purpose."

"Perfect location to get picked up on your Nile cruise, or even to stay for a few nights, it’s that great here. Pool was amazing, staff was super helpful and nice. Great view of the Nile from our room and from the pool. Go to the Egyptian/international restaurant over the Italian restaurant."
