The hotel has a great location. It is an easy 5 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to all restaurants and shops. The staff is super professional and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and super comfortable and the hotel has an amazing view from the pool terrace of La Concha beach.

It was wonderful, our room was very nice and the buffet breakfasts excellent. The staff very attentive and accommodating, quite helpful in finding a restaurant.

The hotel setting is one of a kind. It's a very old fortress that was converted to a beautiful 4 stars hotel. Everything was done to provide all the comfort you would expect from a luxurious hotel while maintaining the structure intact. It has great character and beautiful and tasteful decoration. The view from the windows is great as well. It is in a walking distance from all the attractions of this small town. The breakfast was superb as everything else in the hotel.

We were impressed with the quality and comfort of this hotel, close to the motorway for a one night stay during an extended trip in France. This was easily the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the thoughtful and attentive staff to the beautiful property to the clean rooms, this place has it all. We felt well taken care of the entire stay and enjoyed all of the complimentary items provided by the hotel. It was so peaceful and allowed us to enjoy our time in San Sebastián that much more. Hotel St-Julian is the perfect way to experience the town and unique neighborhoods of Biarritz. Phillip and his wife are the best of host. Right in the old town, next to the harbor and trail up to the castle, and can walk to everything easily right from the hotel. Friendly staff and great fresh breakfast offerings each day.

A total gem. A modernized, old school luxury beach spa resort in a lovely town. Had a great rate for a nice room in October. No complaints.
