I stayed one evening between an international and domestic flight. The health club was staffed, clean and equipment was modern and in good condition. Breakfast buffet was also good and the staff was very attentive.
Best of all, the Head Concierge, Michael, spent an hour on the phone with my domestic airline making certain that My ticket was changed to a later flight. Very professional and helpful staff. All that you need and a convenient location.

Rosewood Beijing once again proved itself as my current best hotel option in the City. Having stayed at around 30 hotels in Beijing, this is the winner. The Good: Very clean! Staff is constantly cleaning (though unobtrusively). Breakfast is ample and slightly different each day, includes cold and warm food, and coffee/milks/juices. All three elevators run quietly and quickly. Nothing is broken anywhere. Simple toiletries are provided. I recommend this hotel. The only problem was that I took a reservation for 3 people in an executive suite and, when arrived the only room available had only one bed. ??. I ask for the other bed and They said that the bed have an extra cost.??.
Finally, after a discussion, they did not charged the extra cost.
I don´t know if the problem is from Expedia or from the hotel, but it is not logical a booking for 3 people with only one bed.
Muy buen hotel, situado en calle peatonal muy turística, y con acceso por carretera a 100metros. Nos quedamos en una habitación con terraza, y super bien, tranquilo y limpio.

The location of the hotel is excellent. We had a fantastic view out our window. Subway station was right out in front of the hotel. The room was extremely comfortable. Wonderful tub and lovely decor. We purchased the buffet breakfast, and it was outstanding. Many choices as well as western choices. Delicious. Also, a great cappuccino machine. We were so happy we chose this hotel. It was wonderful!
An excellent hotel in Beijing! The concierge team was outstanding, going above and beyond to secure entrance tickets to various sights of interest for us, which can be tricky for foreigners to do on their own. They were also super helpful in booking taxis, making our transportation hassle-free.

This hotel is definitely in a strange location. Not only is in a small lane (like a hutong sized lane), the road to the lane has a "no hired car" sign, so some paranoid taxi and DiDI drivers did not want to drive down the street. We walked most of the time to the next street ("XiaoWei Hutong"?) to get our DiDi.
