You might want to play some rounds at Coral Creek Golf Course, located 1.9 mi (3 km) from central Ewa Beach. Hotels.com travelers also say the area is full of friendly people and has lots of nice beaches. If Coral Creek Golf Course doesn't quite scratch your golfing itch, Hawaii Prince Golf Club, and West Loch Golf Course are also nearby.
The hotel was very clean . The staff was friendly and helpful . Breakfast was good with many selections . The laundry was a welcome perk especially as we had wet items to clean from swimming in the ocean .
The hot tub jets worked , but the heater did not work . A staff tried to reset it without success .
The parking fee was too high for the area .
They treated us like royalty. Private, beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer. The way the resort is set up its as though the beach is private, even though all public beaches in Hawaii are public. All of the staff knew my name, even those I hadn't talked to. All of the staff was great. The manager of Hoku's was the best.
Staff was great. Definitely pay the $40 for nightly parking on Sunday and Thursday nights so you don’t get towed on Ala Wai Blvd. Great room location was walkable. We payed a little more to have the executive suite and it was well worth it. We will definitely be back.
The beds we comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't like that the bathroom had barely any counter space for my stuff and the only plug was on the far side of the toilet. Had to place my toothbrush on the toilet tank and hair dryer cord barely reached the mirror to see what your doing.
Amazing amazing amazing! The hotel is located right next door to Hilton Hawaiian Village. The unit and lanai is huge and includes a large room with king bed and full living room. Kitchen has sink fridge stove/oven and lots of appliances. We got the ocean view facing the Hilton and could see diamond head and the lagoon. The other sides either face the marina or the city. This was my first trip to Hawaii and I enjoyed my stay at the Waikiki Malia. My room was clean and had all of the amenities I needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance of many shopping, dining options and the beach.
Transportation was also convenient as you can catch the #20 bus for $3 from the airport and it drops you off in front of the hotel. The pink Waikiki Trolley is available for a tour of the area.

The staff was amazing and the best part of the hotel. As usual with Double tree, the beds were really comfortable. It was very centrally located to shops, restaurants and the beach (all about a 5 minute walk). For the price I would absoultely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

It is the third time we stayed and it was wonderful. Great service and pool was awesome! Housekeeping was efficient when we needed towels. Love this hotel, the price and great for getting everywhere without the traffic and crowded streets in Waikiki.
This was my second time to book in this hotel in our recent trip to Hawaii. First reason is that it's close to the airport and second they had a free airport shuttle which is super convenient. It saved us some money because we just had to return the rental car a day early because we didn't need to drive to the airport. Shuttle drivers were very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was sufficient enough to start the day. Overall, I would stay again the next time we go back to Hawaii. Mahalo!
