"It was beautiful to be in such a landmark building so well kept but also to be right on the beach with wonderful sea views right from our balcony window. The Carrasco area is also very nice and the service at the hotel is impeccable."
"Beautiful bed and breakfast. We loved the attic room. So spacious with comfy king bed, wooden stove, cast iron soaking tub. Staff were fantastic, owners welcoming. Even provided room service or we can dine in restaurant. Lovely garden and pool. Will be returning . "
"I had to book this room late at night due to a flight cancellation. They were friendly and helpful and perfect for what I needed which was a place to stay until I took the ferry in the morning. Breakfast was great. The only thing I would like are larger coffee mugs but that is a cultural thing I think. Great stay though."
"Nice place for sure. Small, but nice rooms. Great food and unbeatable location steps away from La Rambla, beaches, in the Buceo neighborhood, pretty convenient to most of Montevideo. "
"I think that the location is perfect because it's centrally located so you can travel to everywhere and it's very close very close to the beaches as well They have a very good restaurant and I wanted to outline the people in the front desk especially Rosina Fernandez was extremely c Professional and very attentive .Hotel is attached to the Mall .Great for shopping, Great restaurants . "We had a wonderful beach view room in this new hotel. Great bathroom with wonderful shower and bidet toilet!
Great food and pastries. Don't let the menu fool you, gourmet tapas, a must try are the camarónes with mushrooms. Amazi. Plus the Viereas,(scallops) awesome. "
"Loved this hotel. Staff was great, location was great. There was a little restaurant almost next door that had great pizza. Would definitely recommend! "
"One of the tightest roons I've experienced in the Ibis Network. There wab no distincition for being a Silver costumer of Hotels.com. There are no soap in the sink. It was showing up only in the last two daus.
The service is very cordial and the breakfast is basic very well done.
But overal it was a pleasant and recommended stay."
"The owners of the B&B were extremely kind and helpful. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until after 11 pm. The owner was there to pick us up at the airport (we requested the shuttle). They helped us with information about the area. Parking is rather small, so it helps to have a small car. The property is very secure - it’s surround by a fence. WiFi is great and the breakfast is very tasty. It’s in a quiet area of the city. It’s in a location that’s easy to commute to other areas. I...
"Wonderful hotel and a great value. It has a storied history as Hotel Cervantes (famous writers like Borges and Cortazar stayed there), but it is newly renovated and very modern. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to major sights and great restaurants. If I return to Montevideo, I will stay there again."

When the beach is calling your name, you might want to head down to Carrasco Beach, located 8.6 mi (13.8 km) from central Montevideo. Enjoy the sunset by the shore at Buceo Beach.
You might want to try your luck with an evening at Sofitel Montevideo Casino in Carrasco. Why not take a stroll along the beaches and watch the sunset while you're here?

The hotel was very modern with upscale decor. The toilet seat had a sensor that knew when you entered the bathroom. The restaurant had sweeping views of the ocean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
My stay at the Hotel Montevideo was exceptional from start to finish. As a member of Leading Hotels of the World, the hotel truly lives up to its reputation for sophisticated elegance and impeccable attention to detail.
The room, furnished by RH.com, was a masterpiece of design and comfort. The tasteful decor, high-quality furniture, and luxurious bedding created a serene and inviting atmosphere. It's clear that every element was carefully selected to provide a premium experience.

Annette was great, super nice the whole time. I would recommend learning spanish as most of the city people just speak spanish. The hosts were very gracious and we even ate dinner together a few times.
I had a wonderful stay at FAUNA Montevideo. The hosts were very helpful with check-in and check-out. They also had nice attention to details that made the stay even better such as water in the fridge, pleasant music in the lounge, drinks, and snacks. The decor of the hotel is great! The location was close to everything I wanted to see, so I could walk everywhere. Overall, great stay! Thanks!
We had a great stay at the Hyatt Montevideo. The views are beautiful, and the hotel is very comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety including hot options. We didn't use the amenities, but we really enjoyed the lounge downstairs. It was a lovely space, and the service there was excellent. Overall, a great experience!
Wonderful hotel...I can't say enough about the staff, who were helpful and accommodating. The restaurant food at Tomas was some of the best that I had while vacationing. Very good location.
The hotel was beautiful, unique and the location was convenient. The staff went above and beyond with advice and even helped us book our ferry tickets and order pizza for dinner one night. The bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this place.
For the location and quality of this hotel I thought the rate was very reasonable. The hotel opened Dec 1st 2015 so everything is brand new. The room (two double beds) was very large, great closet space, great view of the coastline, very nice and spacious bathroom. Hotel staff was very professional and responsive to questions, also helpful regarding tips for going sightseeing. Good WiFi, great TV and channel selection.
Restaurant has GREAT buffet, a bit pricey but worth it. My wife and I...
The facility is new. The restaurant is excellent and fairly priced.
The staff are very friendly and professional and all things considered, I extended my stay because of the quality here. Normally I do not like staying in hotels more than 1 week. I could be happy here for a month or more.
