"Very pleasant stay in Ebisu, Tokyo. The location was particularly convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby neighborhoods. The accommodation was optimal, well organized, and comfortable. An excellent base for exploring Tokyo, which I highly recommend."
"The room was of a fair size and was comfortable. I feel like the breakfast was a bit pricey, but maybe that's just because I am not especially familiar with the currency. The lounge was really nice."
"The location was convenient to a nearby subway station connecting quickly to Shinjuku. The property was very nice and the bed was the most comfortable of all the hotels I have stayed in at Japan."
"Recently renovated room, very functional and tidy.
10 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station West exit, many restaurants and shops, but far less crowded area than the East side.
Very friendly hotel staff.
Always-open convenience store at the ground floor, very useful."
"We enjoyed our stay at this property. A short walk to the Waseda subway stop, or the trolley, some decent restaurants near by. Appreciated the free shuttle service they provide when we left with our luggage travelling to Kyoto."
"Great views and excellent location! The folks at Groove Shinjuku were warm and welcoming, and very helpful. The location is a very short walk from Shinjuku Station and hence, it is easy to get to places from here."
"This was my first trip to Japan and specifically Tokyo. This hotel was a phenomenal hotel. The service was exceptional and polite. Located in the heart of shinjuku. I am recommending to friends and family. Arigato gozaimasu!"
"Great property in the Heart of Shinjuku. Great view on the 30th floor.
Definite Godzilla theme and staff is welcoming.
Cheers,

Compact as you’d expect in Tokyo area but jam packed with all the essentials. Location is great being steps away from the subway station and a 10 min walk from Shinagawa Station.(direct Narita Express train from the international airport) There is also a convenience store right around the corner as well as a grocery store near by. They offer a breakfast buffet for a fee as well.
We made this hotel our home for 3 days, but would have been pretty comfortable even for a week. We will keep this...
The hotel room was huuuuge compared to other hotels- we even had a little balcony! The washing machine in the unit helped SO much. It was a bit difficult to get from the station to the hotel with large bags because there isn’t an exit with an escalator/elevator that we could find but it’s completely doable. The staff let us wait in a private lounge with water and vending machines until it was time for check in which was amazing!

I always stay at Sotetsu Fresa Takadanobaba whenever I'm in Tokyo, and for good reason. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from Takadanobaba Station, which connects to the JR Yamanote, Seibu Shinjuku, and Tozai Lines. This makes it easy to get around Tokyo, whether you're headed to Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, or other popular spots.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with rooms that are surprisingly spacious for the price. I appreciate that you can adjust the AC to your...
Great hotel that’s a short walk to the heart of Shinjuku and all it has to offer during the day and night! Still a quiet room though. Room was on the smaller side but you’re hardly in it anyway since you’re exploring Tokyo!
Love this place and we will stay here again in the future. Room was amazing for three people with 3 single beds, fresh linen-and robe daily. Free breakfast with delicious pastries included. And oh, I missed the caffucino latte served as much as you want from Am till 10:00 pm. Our experience was great!
I was a bit skeptical, as I saw multiple APA hotels in my search, but that is because of how good it is. It is a very eco friendly hotel with a moto of "Simplified Luxury" which is exactly what it was. It was very walkable to all the major spots of Shinjuku we were looking for- the station, the tourist spots, etc. Also, all the amenities the hotel had to offer. The room itself, while small by design, met all our expectations. Extra toilietry items, robes, pajamas, indoor slippers, water...
The rooms were small but it was definitely well kept. The amenities where provided everyday. The staff were so helpful. They even assisted ha with forwarding our luggage to our next hotel.
We stayed at the four beds room for a few days in May 2023. Very pleasant stay. The room is quite larger comparing with other hotels we stayed. The night was quiet, can have a very good sleep. The breakfast is the best. We enjoyed it everyday. Definitely we stay here again if we visit Tokyo in the future.
Super clean property, staff was helpful and friendly, perfect location in Tokyo close to several tourist areas, safe location with restaurants and stores immediately next to it. Would definitely stay there again, highly recommended!
The Narita Airport limosine bus stops directly at this hotel, so it's very convenient if you don't want to carry a bunch of luggage on the shinkansen/local trains. There's a FamilyMart in a section of the building, on the second floor. The nearest metro station is the Akasaka-mitsuke station, and use the D exit (the yellow blocks on Google Maps). The staff is incredibly helpful, and we never felt uncomfortable asking for help with luggage/storage, or asking for more sheets/towels. Even Hilton's...
Our stay at Hotel Niwa made our Japan trip exceptional! As American travelers in our early 30s, we found this place to be a gem in Tokyo.
The hotel's ambiance was simply beautiful, and the rooms were surprisingly spacious for a city known for compact spaces. Its prime location, just a 5-minute walk from a JR line, made navigating Tokyo incredibly convenient. Plus, being within walking distance of fantastic restaurants and yes, even the indispensable 7-11s, added immense value to our stay.
The...
I have been staying at this property for over 10 years when I come to Japan. It’s my favorite property because the property is conveniently located amongst great transportation and shopping.
I had a quite disturbing experience when I was lining up at the front desk to ask about their takkyubin services. When it was my turn an older gentleman with salt and pepper hair color asked me in a disrespectful voice “check in?” I was taken aback by this. Since I am able to speak in Japanese fluently, I...
