I was there just for one short overnight stay, but I was really impressed with the hotel. Very comfortable, very clean and the staff were great. And the breakfast was excellent! You can order from an "ala carte buffet" menu which is kind of interesting, and all the items I ordered -- from typical Western bakery items and egg dishes to spicy Laksa -- were outstanding. Definitely consider this property when choosing a hotel in the area!

Excellent service and great location

the two front desk lady were very helpful. the night supervisor was able to remove mold on the shower door. the checkout process was simple. the location is close to harbor front center to take bus to KL.

Close to the MRT and Botanical gardens.

Walking distance to Siloso and Palawan beaches!

Nice hotel in a great location. We love the Orchard Road area. The breakfast is very nice. We did not eat dinner there so can't comment on that. The standard rooms are smallish but well laid out. They were fine for our purpose as we did not spend much time in our room other than sleeping. I would certainly stay there again and would send my friends there.

I have traveled to 50+ country's and have never had a better hotel experience. They have a complimentary airport pick up which was nice, since after 30 hrs of travel time I did not have to deal with public transportation or a taxi. We stayed at this hotel for a week. We liked the atmosphere in the hotel. Next to the hotel is a bus station, including for bus 36 which is a direct connection to the airport. Hotel is also near metro stations Orchard and Somerset. The area of the hotel is lively with lots of shops and restaurants. Stunning views from club level. Beautiful, well appointed room. The arrival drink and pre-dinner aperitif were nice touches. Fantastic location sandwiched between picturesque Chinatown and the business district. Would definitely stay here again and feel that paying extra for the club level room was well worth it.

The Carleton is my #1 choice when in Singapore The value and location is my main reasons for choosing the Carleton over all other hotels in the area. The Raffles Hotel, Chines and Raffles City mall is literally a walk across the street.
