"This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."

"Great location and friendly hosts. Watching the ships come and go from my bedroom window was lovely - view from breakfast room was even better. Nice walk along the point from the home. I walked from the airport (no luggage) to the pub, had dinner and then walked home. Steep hill but quite manageable. Was not disturbed by the planes despite proximity to airport. Easy Uber to Weta!"

My unit was on the ground floor, right out front, but there must have been superior sound-proofing as I couldn't hear traffic at all. My unit was beautifully decorated, bed linens clean and fresh and fabulous curtaining. The cleaning service was impeccable and the Adelaide Motel is so handy to everything, with the Woolworths supermarket virtually across the road. I highly recommend it.
