"Check-in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful. The continental breakfast every morning was also a great addition. The food was simple and tasteful. I would def book here again."
"Old world charm. This was a cute hotel. There was limited free parking but we got a space. The breakfast was good. We use bus and U-bahn to get into the town centre. We enjoyed our stay"
"Clean well-maintained affordable hotel with very friendly staff. I lost my glasses, and the staff immediately took upon themselves to offer to call places, where I might have lost them, and then proceeded to offer a solution by pointing out where I could easily get replacement glasses cheaply. Whilst not a luxury property, it was clean, wellmaintained and offered a lounge area for informal meetings and good breakfast services and a bar."
"This was a really great hotel and I would definitely stay there again if I’m in Munich. The building and room were super clean and modern, almost felt brand new, especially for European hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff were all wonderful, and went out of their way to be helpful!
Plus the location was super quiet and convenient- right next to the train station so getting to and from any parts of the city. There’s a full size supermarket, and convenience store downstairs which made getting any...
"Accidental handicapped room with no furniture to make room for a wheelchair which we didn’t have or need. The bar and restaurant were okay but overpriced. It is convenient to an airport shuttle."
"The hotel is a perfect location. Rooms are always very well cleaned and neat and the amenities are excellent. The afternoon attendant at the desk is very thorough but seems to have an issue with multitasking, while the morning staff is truly excellent."
"Easy check in. We were able to store our bags and do some sightseeing since we arrived early in the morning. Great location very convenient to the main train station (HBF). Breakfast was also very nice."

We stayed with our adult children at the Hotel Obermaier during Octoberfest. It was all that we had hoped for. It is a traditional hotel with a good restaurant attached. It is convenient by Metro to downtown Munich. It is much more reasonably priced than closer-in hotels. Our room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was unbelievably generous and delicious. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Obermaier if we are fortunate enough to return to Munich, particularly during Octoberfest.
The hotel was in Old Town Munich. Excellent restaurants steps away. The breakfast was amazing. Loved the bedding and how clean the room was. Absolutely a great choice to stay.
Great Hotel! Amazing staff as they responded to all request quickly. They even help me find a nail salon close by. VIP room upgrade was amazing! Very clean hotel, amazing gym considering the area. Very quiet, close by all shopping and dining in Marienplatz.
Great hotel, rooms so nice. Roof top bar was great and view was unbelievable. Service outstanding, didn’t hesitate to hold our bags or accommodate early check-in for tired travelers. We are a family with 3 kids and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Very walkable area.
Having just arrived from a terrible hotel experience in Paris as part of an extended vacation, checking in to Hotel Metropol was a breath of fresh air. All of the staff was friendly, hospitable, and very helpful but the gentlemen who works the front desk in the afternoon was exceptional!! He provided me with local recommendations of where to go and a map of how to get there, clear and useful instructions for how the hotel works, and his energy and spirit were just so welcoming. I breathed a...
Amazing restaurant with wonderful service. Breakfast buffet is well worth it and a great restaurant for dinner upon arrival. Rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. Great location in a beautiful area!
Hotel was in fabulous location just off Marienplatz. It was cute, had little pastries on check in. The breakfast was good and had a nice breakfast room. Perfect base to explore central Munich and super close to U and S bahn stop. Sad I only stayed one night. Would definitely stay longer in the future.
Nice hotel, very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, good location for our trip (few minutes walk to the train station), we walked to Marienplatz, other attractions and restaurants.
Best hotel, conveniently located for the Oktoberfest. I’ve stayed there the last 2 years for Oktoberfest and it’s the only hotel I’ll stay at in Munich! I will definitely be back!
We were unfamiliar with the Westend area, but really liked the neighborhood of this hotel. We chose this hotel because of the area, price and Trip Advisor reviews. We had no complaints with this hotel (other than the fact that it does not have air conditioning, which might be a factor in warmer weather). That being said, we also didn't think there was anything particularly outstanding about the hotel that would separate it from other hotels. But the staff was very helpful and accommodating and...
