Hotels in Edgewater

"This was the best stay! Everything was so clean and welcoming. We will definitely be back. The neighborhood was pretty and peaceful. Fully stocked kitchen and coffee was great! Thanks so much for a wonderful time!"

"This hotel is a great option if you do not want to stay downtown. The Edgewater and Andersonville areas nearby have many great bars and restaurants as well as unique shopping. "

"The hotel was clean. The staff was amazing. The location is also great. I love being right on the water. Perfect for a stroll outside on the boardwalk."

"Perfect location! Felt like we were local in this wonderful neighborhood, but just a quick walk to the hustle and bustle of downtown Chicago. Claridge House had everything we needed."

"Hotel was beautiful, very clean, staff was amazing , and the pool was clean fun to be in !!!!!!!!!"

"It is an older hotel in Gold Coast area which is nice. Rooms are older but clean. They had a free breakfast. Got my coffee here each morning."

"The cleaning staff did an excellent job. The room was tidied as often as you needed. The staff were very accommodating with my requests. Extra blankets etc. Darnell was especially personable and was a delight to speak to. The Poor Phils restaurant was fantastic and the waitress was great. We had a shrimp poboy and blackened catfish. It was a lovely atmosphere and fun people watching. The hotel is fantastic to walk to the L and great restaurants. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Perfect location for touring Chicago by foot, tube or renting a car. The front desk provided recommendations that all Were 5 star! Well done! The rooms were clean and perfect to rest up for our days on the town!"

"Great hotel bar and friendly bartender!!"

"Very close to Grant Park, Soldier Field, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, and Northerly Island. Great area if Chicago. Can walk almost anywhere from here. May need to snag a ride to Navy Pier. Didn’t spend much time in the Hotel. Staff were nice. Hotel is on the older side, but if you spend that much time in it, then why are you in Chicago!"

"The hotel is located in a prime Chicago Gold Coast location. A few blocks from Gibsons and Rush street and 2 blocks off the lake for beautiful walks. The rooms, although a bit dated, the cleaning staff did an amazing job ensuring everything was very clean. Customer service, the bar, valet and front desk staff were very accommodating. This hotel has everything you need without the outrageous price tags of other Chicago hotels. I will be staying here again. Wonderful trip!"

"Great location, comfortable, spacious rooms, and great staff. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is the best I have stayed at in Chicago, and I've stayed at several. Easy walking to Willis Tower, Water Tower Place, The Mag Mile, and the lake. The restaurant has great food and the bar is a great place to unwind at the end of the day. I will be returning to this hotel for my future trips."

"I had a great stay at this hotel. Everything I needed was in walking distance and staff were very friendly and helpful"

"Everything’s ok. Specially the location. Very convenient"

"Loved this hotel, and would definitely stay here next time we come to Chicago. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. The location was convenient, on the Magnificent Mile, walking distance, or a short bus ride to Millennium Park, the Art Institute, Symphony Hall, Riverwalk, the Lyric Opera House, Museum of Contemporary Art, Navy Pier and great restaurants. The hotel restaurant was great, food well prepared and well presented. The staff was friendly, professional and always helpful....

"Great place. Clean and comfortable. Great location. Easy to get to."

"Lovely Art Deco hotel in a perfect location for bopping around Chicago. Only 1 block from the train and 2 blocks from Millennium Park. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They recommended a great restaurant for lunch."

"Location and price wise i think Hilton Garden Inn is a good affordable choice. The city views are very nice and the area is walkable."

"The staff was extremely helpful in dealing with some accomodations for our party and I really appreciate that! In the heart of everything, made getting around the city a breeze whether bike or train or car. Would stay again"

"Booked this specifically for the rooftop with city views, when I got there I was told it was closed it would have been nice to know that before booking I would have chosen another hotel. Bed was comfy and close to a lot of stuff in the city. Room was spacious."
