"We able to checkin early for a small fee. Room was clean and good size. Shower was nice. Had shampoo conditioner and body wash. Sink was a little small for toiletries. Had a mini fridge and TV was fine. They stored our bags when leaving and concierge was very helpful. Very close to Millennial Park and had a great view for fireworks at Navy Pier. Close to the L if coming from Midway. A very nice stay"

"The Freehand is my go to place every time I'm in Chicago. It is a bohemian treasure and attracts interesting tourists, many from Europe. Good location, just by Eataly in the River North area, and I always have no trouble finding nearby parking on SpotHero. I've stayed here a few times now, and it feels like my 2nd home in Chicago. "River Hotel is located right in the center, saves you lots of time for transportation. Hop-on-off bus is across, famous river walk is at your feet. Boat rides are in 5 min walking distance. Room was very clean, towels changed every day, a/c was relatively quiet and could be set at your liking. Amazing flowless check in and out, front desk staff very friendly and helpful as well. I have recommended this hotel to my friends."
