Very nice hotel. Ischia is very spread out so you do need to take a lot of expensive taxis. Hotel was beautiful with a great staff. Breakfast was very nice each day.
We loved our stay here. Luxurious rooms, amazing pool and waterfront. Lovely lounge chairs. Lovely seating areas. Aqua-spa. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Cocktails were delicious and well presented. If you need to escape the rest of the world, or treat yourself, or get engaged, or celebrate a honeymoon or an anniversary or a big birthday, this would be a great place to get off the grid and escape into a retreat for yourself.
The thing about this hotel is that it probably got a 5star rating because it was on the water and it deserves a 5star rating for bringing or near the town of Ponte,it's remarkable restaurants,it's history and wonderful people.
When I got to the resort my heart felt to the ground. This amazing resort was on top of a mountain. The view were spectacular. You see the entire city Bocoli. There was two things I loved the most. The hotel staff were wonderful, offering suggestions about the local attractions. You get the real feel of Naples walking the small streets of Quartiere Spagnoli. Will definitely stay at Il Convento on our next trip to Naples.
Hotel Amenities, Cleanliness, Service and Food (Breakfast) was absolute top notch. Room had built in audio system, power curtains and blinds which was refreshing. Shower stall in the bathroom was small, you could not properly shower without pushing shower door opening, causing water puddle.
Area of the hotel location is ok, not dangerous but alright. To us it felt like hotel was super nice to be in ok neighborhood.

We chose to stay here as to wanting to be near the coast. I had booked this based on reviews. This hotel was wonderful, staff was amazing, rooms are what we expected for Naples. Area is most likely one of the safest. You have everything at your fingertips. Nightlife, restaurants, cafes, sunbathing, the Port of Naples and their major "downtown" shopping area, all within walking distance. Views! Loved it so much staying there again.

I stayed here for one night and found this hotel by accident. It's clean, modern, has a great view, and is in a great location. My room has a view of the water. The rooms are on the first floor of the building so it can be noisy sometimes. Each room has a different movie or celebrity name. The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom. There's a shower with a rainfall shower head but the water pressure was weak. There was also no door so water splashed all over the rest of the bathroom. The...
