I stayed at the Londra Palace for one night with my mom after our Mediterranean cruise ended in Venice. This hotel was perfect. We arrived at the hotel at about 9:30am with our luggage, as we'd just disembarked from our cruise ship. We were upgraded to a canal view without extra charge, a nice perk. There was a gondola right outside the door and that seemed more personal than going to the pier to get one. The check-in was quick and the staff was very helpful in assisting us with our many questions. The location was really good. The best thing we did was spend extra money and have the hotel arrange a water taxi from the airport to the door of the hotel. This hotel is on a canal. It has the most gorgeous back garden coutryard, which was our window view. When arriving by public water taxi, there is only one bridge to schlep your luggage over. Friendly greetings from all staff and a large, bright and modern apartment . The kitchen was equipped with a Nespresso machine and there was a good supply of coffee pods and teabags.
Restaurants and stores were few steps from the entrance and we were a short walk to San Marco , the Rialto and all Venice has to offer. We will definitely stay here again.
