They treated us like royalty. Private, beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer. The way the resort is set up its as though the beach is private, even though all public beaches in Hawaii are public. All of the staff knew my name, even those I hadn't talked to. All of the staff was great. The manager of Hoku's was the best.

Have stayed here often over the years but not recently until this stay, the upgrades to rooms and AC are outstanding and the whole place has been upgraded. For those coming from afar there are THREE ABC stores a phenom in Hawaii, within a few hundred yards of the Hotel meaning you could come with nothing and up to 11pm we well equipped for your stay. It was quiet compared to the properties in the heart of Waikiki. The staff was super friendly.

I loved the staff and environment, I always go for a boutique style hotel to support the small businesses and I thought it was amazing. And a really good price also. To whoever is in these reviews saying they wanted it to be more resort like and BS like that should have booked at a resort if they wanted all the perks. I would just say everyone should stay here when going to Oahu because the staff where so excellent.

This hotel was perfect for our little stay. We specifically did not want to stay in Waikiki, and this was the perfect distance away. We could still walk to the Waikiki area, but felt like we were in a quite neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel room was a suite, and we were not expecting that. My ocean view room was the perfect stay for mine & my families visit to Waikīkī. We added the breakfast option which was perfect and saved us some coins as food in the area can get pricey. The unit, we stay was amazing, clean and easy to parking . Near by the wakiki beach , near by zoo, near by market. I like this place. We will come back. Thanks for make us stay safe and been good time for summer.

It is the best option for traveling!

Great location close to the beach. Great price for the area and quality. Wonderful breakfast each day. Only suggestion would be to work on the drainage for the AC units. The condensation drops from the above unit onto the unit in the room making a constant dripping noise. Great place overall.

For the most part it was ok. They don’t clean the halls of your room area and you have to pay for parking $35 a day!

We loved our stay! Lovely open air entrance, free beach towels, chairs, sunscreen and other beach needs. WiFi included in price is not true of all hotels. Bed and pillows were comfy and Starbucks right next door! The restaurant, Lulu’s is a relaxing, open air gem. Everything we ordered was delicious. Recommend the avo toast, coconut shrimp and bloody Mary’s. The fish sandwich was excellent. Room was pretty basic but had frig and microwave. We would stay again for sure.

The beds we comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't like that the bathroom had barely any counter space for my stuff and the only plug was on the far side of the toilet. Had to place my toothbrush on the toilet tank and hair dryer cord barely reached the mirror to see what your doing.

Friendly accommodating staff. 100steps away from the beach. My family loved the daily free breakfast and free filtered water.

Everything was amazing!!! The place was perfect! Nice view. A block away from the beach..lots of places to eat within walking distance. Great location. Would stay here again!

Great place to stay and lots to do nearby

Enjoyed our time here. We enjoyed that it was walking distance to many things however parking was very expensive.

Staff was great. Definitely pay the $40 for nightly parking on Sunday and Thursday nights so you don’t get towed on Ala Wai Blvd. Great room location was walkable. We payed a little more to have the executive suite and it was well worth it. We will definitely be back.
