Hotels in Monte de Gibralfaro

This parador overlooks Malaga and the port. It is not in the city center and is 20 minutes walk to downtown Malaga. But there is a bus (bus no. 35) that goes from the parador to different locations in Malaga. So although the parador is not centrally located, it offers magnificent views and a quiet and peaceful surrounding. I highly recommend this parador.

This was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in in my entire life! It was a palace. It had beautiful history. It had a saltwater pool! The staff was absolutely impeccable. Beyond friendly, they made me feel like I was genuinely appreciated and the breakfast was something to behold. The next time I visit Malaga I will only stay at the Miramar. I literally miss the staff already! I could not recommend it more. Luxurious. Bvlgari products in the rooms! I felt like the darn queen of England....

The best part about this hotel is the hotel. Shopping, dining, and tourist attractions are next door. Hotel is clean and comfortable. There's no air condition. Just open window and let the cool air in. This will be our go to hotel when come back to Malaga.

we had only a day in Malaga, and this was the right place to be very close to the Museum of Picasso , an must see in Malaga .

Friendly staff and very clean room. 1 block from the beach and very walkable to the plaza about 15 min. There are several local hang outs nearby which we really enjoyed versus overcrowded venues in the historic center.

This property is very nicely located across from the harbor area, which has lots of dining options, close to the beach areas, and yet also close to the park and downtown. We walked everywhere. The rooms were nicely appointed and the beds were comfortable. Refrigerators in rooms did not seem cold enough but they worked. Had a nice spa and exercise area as well as a hot tub. The hotel staff was by far the most professional and attentive out of the six hotels we stayed at during our trip to Spain. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Carmen, who not only gave us a quick tour of the hotel, highlighting its historical features, but also helped us choose some fantastic local restaurants. Great location but difficult to get to by car without parking near and asking hotel staff as the route involves driving through “pedestrianized “ areas. Once there stay was great.

Great beaches, eateries, art museums, historical sites and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has a delicious breakfast buffet.Free parking was available.

This is what i call a people Hotel the whole staff is incredible they go out of there way to please you .plus the Hotel is located in the center you have everything you need and i mean everything in just a few stepes from the Hotel. And specially i would like to thank Jose Angel for treating us as family. I could say i will come back again . Thank you for making our vacation the best.

Perfect for a 1 night stay!

The hotel was nice, the breakfast was good too. The staff were very attentive and it had a rooftop bar that was nice too. Our room was a good size. It can be noisy at night, when people are loud, but it was never an issue for us. The only down side is that cars won’t reach that area and you will have to walk a couple blocks with your luggage when you get dropped off and when leaving.
