I have been traveling to Lima several times ver the last 10 years. I always select Tierra Viva Miraflores at Gral. Mendiburu. The staff is just superb - from check-in to breakfast to assistance with taxis, etc. Suggest selecting a room facing the inside courtyard for lower steer noise.
The food was excellent and the staff was pleasent and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Amenities like the pool were nice and the room was extremely comfortable. I would stay here again.
Me and my wife loved the view from our room and especially from the treadmill looking out at the beautiful mountains and by the pool u can a little bit of the pacific ocean.
I like the silence at night, which allows you to rest and sleep pleasantly. The staff is very helpful, friendly and courteous.
Perhaps the only drawback is that it does not have a dining room service. Many times, one does not want to leave the hotel and wants to eat something right there.
The hotel is only 7 months old so everything is very new and modern. It is the first Hampton n Peru and I’ve never been n a cleaner hotel in the world. Patricia, at the front desk, got a BA n Hospitality 2 years ago and she is very professional n her work. I asked about seeing several places n town and she always knew where they were and printed out a map showing the route I should take. On my birthday, which I hadn’t mentioned to anyone, she arranged a little celebration and joined other staff...
This was our second stay at this hotel. Loved the location, the friendliness of the staff and the comfortable rooms. Can’t say enough about the walk ability around the miraflores area! Very safe. Having breakfast available also was a plus. Loved the rooftop bar area for a nightcap. Team members that made our stay special, Diego and Yvonne at breakfast, Jorge and Juliano at the bar!
Small quiet hotel close to shops and restaurants. The staff is simply great. They staff is friendly and knowledgeable, 24h service The hotel is very clean. Filtered Water stations on every floor

The only drawback is that there’s no small fridge in the room.
Room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable and clean. Quiet. Upmarket area. Walkable to Park Kennedy and the coast as well as shops, restaurants and mini markets. Staff were helpful. We arranged an airport shuttle in advance through the hotel. Good buffet breakfast included. Lovely welcome drink was a nice surprise.
I really enjoyed my time in Tambo 1. It's a great location and clean and walkable to many places. The Breakfast was great and plenty of it. We did have an incident where my sister fell in the shower and lacerated her head and bruised her back. I did bring it to the attention of the personnel and they took matters into their hands. BUt be very careful with the very slippery floor in the bathroom. Do request a mat for the shower prior to occupying. Other than that we really enjoy the place.
Sol de Oro was in a great location close to restaurants, bars, and shops in the heart of Miraflores. The hotel is beautiful and even included breakfast every day we were there with great food. The room itself was spacious and most importantly it was clean. It was generally quiet except for some renovations being done to some rooms nearby which were noisy at times but fortunately not during late night or early morning hours. The stay was very comfortable, I only had one little issue, I knew I had to check in at 3:00 PM, but I came a little bit earlier to see if I can leave my bags somewhere here or even wait here until 3:00 PM, but they literally told me to go on my own somewhere else until 3 pm, I couldn’t even stay in the lobby. If you respect the time of your stay, the place is perfect, but If you think they’ll help you in other way then nope.
Ingresé al hotel pasado media noche y solo me dejaron estar hasta la 1:30 pm y no 2:30 por más que pedi algo de consideración por ingresar muy tarde al hotel, no parece un hotel que estaba lleno así que un poquito de flexibilidad hubiera hecho mejor mi experiencia
