"If you are considering booking this hotel, I need you to remember that it’s okay to stay at home. I stayed here two nights and it was awful. The rooms lacked windows and had terrible air circulation. There was a fan that was very dusty and loud and so you could not leave it on. The sheets and towels are also very cheap. "Absolutely perfect location, right in the cry of Pelourinho. This bustling location always felt safe (although we did make an effort to stay near where there were policemen and guards) and the neighborhood is full of interesting sights, restaurants and shops to explore. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms comfortable and stylish with a traditional colonial architecture of shiny dark wood and very high ceilings. "Great place! Great deal. Clean, safe, nice breakfast, wonderful staff, hot water in shower, & smack in the heart of Pelhourino. So yes, be prepared for weekend music outside window until midnight & then some street noise. But was fine for me. (No elevator but staff help carry stuff upstairs.) I'd gladly stay again."
