Excellent stay superb service !

This was such a fun, modern and clean hotel! The staff were great at communication and very friendly! The breakfast was diverse and lots of options. The beds were comfortable and clean and the atmosphere was charming and relaxing! Couldn’t recommend more!

We absolutely loved this hotel. It’s amazing! The rooms are really beautiful, the food is great, and the staff is so nice. We loved the pools, playground and beautiful view. We highly recommend the hotel.

Hotel Sonne is a comfortable hotel right in the center of Lienz, a quick walk from the train and bus stations. The interior of the building itself is definitely dated and a bit austere, but that really didn’t impact my stay. My room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the mountains. The breakfast options were great, and I appreciated that breakfast itself started at 6:00 (I’m an early riser). The staff were friendly and accommodating. I didn’t have time to try the sauna or the gym, but...

Great location, great stuff , lovely people

The town of Forni Di Sopra is a beautiful setting. The hotel is on the edge of town by the ski hill. In the summer the ski hill has activities for kids and families. It’s a less than 10 minute walk to the center of town. Excellent location for hiking in the area. Our room was well kept and everything in the hotel is very clean. The hotel interior is dated- it has a modernist, mid-century to 1970’s aesthetic that is charming, and everything is in excellent condition. Staff were helpful and...

Wonderful family property

A lovely historic hotel. The lake below hosted the 1956 Olympic speed skating events outside. Very cool vibe. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Great place to start exploring the Eastern Dolomites, away from all the craziness of Cortina. Which is a nice hour drive away.

One of the most beautiful places in the world. We couldn't believe where we landed when we decided to stay in the Dolomites on the way from Salzburg to Vienna. Dario and Family/staff were beyond accommodating and went above and way beyond to make our short stay one of the best stays of our three week tour. Lovely.

It was a beautiful hotel and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We really appreciated how well they took care of us. However, I would warn other guests not to underestimate the Passo Della Mauria on the way into Forni di Sopra, especially in the winter.

The staff were helpful and friendly. A nice breakfast was provided and dinner can be purchased on-site. The accommodations were clean. There is parking on site and the area around is walkable.
