We stayed at this hotel because the reviews were so good and because of the location so close to the Maidan. Turns out the reviews were quite accurate. Everything was great. The room was clean and spacious. Everything in the bathroom was fine. The staff was friendly and helpful and very security conscious. Only a few steps from Maidan. Worth the money.

I spent 8 nights at the Vozdvyzhensky in late October, as a tourist. It was my first trip to Kiev. I do hope to go back, and I would not consider any other hotel. Its location is perfect for exploring the city; EVERYONE working there was extremely warm and helpful, and completely welcoming. I had the pleasure to stay in many 5 stars hotels in Kiev, Fairmont is one of the top hotels when it comes to facilities, condition, room space and their staff. I would recommend the hotel for business trips for sure

The Opera Hotel is on a quiet street where you can relax in luxurious comfort, without any pretension. The beds, linens, and bathroom amenities are excellent and you feel pampered, but your privacy is respected as well.

Modern, very central, new building with very nice room. Excellent bed and pillows, Bathroom is small with walk in shower. The view on city from most rooms is nice.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 night stay at Bontiak Hotel. Starting with the room - it was clean, spacious, with really good blackout curtains (for those 4am sunrises), remote-controlled a/c.Super quiet, first time in Europe I didn't need earplugs. A truly nice small property 1-2 metro station from the heart of Kiev. suites/apartmnts are spacious and have everything you need. didnt try the breakfast they offer via the Patisserie adjacent, but their cakes and sandwiches are amazing.

I have been to this hotel twice now. Once in June and again in December. A great stay both times and will do it again when i come back. Old soviet style building so don't expect the Hilton. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially if you only speak English. All staff is very fluent in English making easy for English speakers. Breakfast buffet was great. Great hotel. The only problem i had was the Wifi internet would cut on and off. Did not have this problem in my June stay but...
