Cass Bonita is located in a residential neighborhood approximately 15 minutes by car from the city. The hotel provides a shuttle until 5 pm. We arranged an airport pickup and drop off and were charged a reasonable fee. We were upgraded at no charge to a bigger room with our own balcony. The hotel was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful in consierge matters. The neighborhood is rather calm but still has really good food in walking distance. While it has 3 great on-site restaurants, one drawback would be the volume of level of the music played in the bar late into the night, which is fine if your room is on the other side (and they do provide earplugs) but might be an issue in a room closer to the sound.

The only problem I recommend to be done to our room is to fix the drainage in the shower drain system. The water stays in the area and it doesn’t drain properly.

This hotel is in a pleasant and easily walkable neighborhood. The rooms are nice, it's quiet, it's kept clean, and the rooftop deck is awesome.
But the best part is Emilio. He rushed out to help us with parking before we even got to the door. He reassured us about our travel plans after the disturbing events of late February 2026. If you're going to Ciudad Oaxaca, this is where you should stay.

The property is charming and very well located. The rooms are large and clean and have thoughtful details (eg sound machine for getting to sleep). Lots of great art throughout.

This is where my husband and I stayed for our honeymoon. Super cute and cozy. The patio was beautifully decorated with plants of all sorts. The staff was helpful and are happy to help you. It's a 10ish minute walk to el centro but SO WORTH IT. With stores, liquor stores, and mini marts not too far.
Overall, the staff was great and very friendly. On our last night, our flight was at night and they securely stored our luggage while we walked around for the day until it was time to head to the airport. There was an error in the type of vehicle to the airport because I had asked the night before to reserve a van that would fit a family of 6, but they were able to obtain 2 taxis fairly quickly for the same price we would’ve paid for the van. Casa Antonieta was incredible! If you have the chance to stay here, you should without question. The staff here was so attentive and helpful with arrangements and recommendations. Their response time to emails was some times nearly instantaneous and everything they recommended was top notch. The room was spacious and relaxing, and had a shower with great water pressure. Fantastic restaurants, coffee shops and Mezcalerias all within a few blocks. I look forward to staying at Casa Antonieta again...
Quality care in this small hotel located in central Oaxaca, near Plaza de Los Leones. The reservationist is friendly as well as the entire staff.
The rooms are kept clean and if you want privacy, you need only ask-If you want your room left alone, or cleaned less frequently, simply let them know.

Unfortunately our room was over the garage and the metal doors upon opening and closing, made a lot of noise.
Also at 7 am water is delivered by truck and that was quite disturbing.
