Cass Bonita is located in a residential neighborhood approximately 15 minutes by car from the city. The hotel provides a shuttle until 5 pm. We arranged an airport pickup and drop off and were charged a reasonable fee. We were upgraded at no charge to a bigger room with our own balcony. The hotel was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful in consierge matters. The neighborhood is rather calm but still has really good food in walking distance. While it has 3 great on-site restaurants, one drawback would be the volume of level of the music played in the bar late into the night, which is fine if your room is on the other side (and they do provide earplugs) but might be an issue in a room closer to the sound.

This is where my husband and I stayed for our honeymoon. Super cute and cozy. The patio was beautifully decorated with plants of all sorts. The staff was helpful and are happy to help you. It's a 10ish minute walk to el centro but SO WORTH IT. With stores, liquor stores, and mini marts not too far.
The entire experience and staff were amazing. Gerardo and Julio were a part of making it amazing. The food was perfect, the rooftop pool, the room and the location was on point. We will be returning. Shout out to the transportation company too!! Thanks for an amazing first visit!
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Azul. The hotel design is impressive and the location is perfect (easy walking distance to all tourist attractions in town, but just far enough off the main tourist strip to be a bit secluded). The perfect blend of Hotel and AirbNb. We reserved the “Villa” which is a two story house with two ample bedrooms, a living room, media room, two full baths and kitchen. It’s 4 blocks north of Santo Domingo temple and museums, so easily walkable and comfortable. If you want the included breakfast they will deliver it… also all the cleaning and changing of towels etc at your convenience. Great staff and wonderful place. We’ll be back!
I am rating this hotel as 5 stars as it's not a luxury hotel, but it's at the top of its class. Spotlessly clean, accommodating & friendly service. Embarrassingly I speak no Spanish, but the staff easily compensated.

Oaxaca is a busy and noisy place, it is not easy to find a really quiet place to stay there.
